Example 1:
Safebreakers now need three times as long! Cash dispensing machines in banks, cash collecting boxes in telephone booths and strongrooms must all be protected against mechanical attack from hammers, burners, saws and cutting tools. Example 2:
10-times service life in the fireproofing industry.
This industry uses extremely hard minerals in fireclay materials. The VAUTID experts were called in. A special material had to be developed - VAUTID W 10 with super hard vanadium carbides which are even harder than chromium carbides. This alloy has the necessary toughness, despite its high carbide content. This is because the carbide’s structure is round, not pointed. The blades were also redesigned with autogenous wear protection. The result is typical for VAUTID.
