A special material had to be developed - VAUTID W 10 with super hard vanadium carbides which are even harder than chromium carbides. This alloy has the necessary toughness, despite its high carbide content. This is because the carbide’s structure is round, not pointed. The blades were also redesigned with autogenous wear protection. The result is typical for VAUTID.
